Now

A snapshot of what I'm focused on at the moment. It's the kind of thing I'd tell you if we met for a coffee and you asked, "so, what are you up to these days?"

Right now most of my time, and a fair share of my sleep, goes to looking after my baby boy, who is not quite one yet. It is the best kind of exhausting. The hobbies I love have quietly moved to the back burner: The Brothers Karamazov has been waiting patiently on my desk for months, my bike sees daylight far less than it used to, and travelling has become a more local, more carefully planned affair. I am not complaining. This season is a short one, and I want to be present for it.

At work I am part of a team building an agentic solution that weaves AI into every step of the video production pipeline. It is ambitious and genuinely exciting, the kind of project that makes the early starts worthwhile.

Looking a little further ahead, I am counting down to the summer holidays: a trip to Toulouse, and then Italy to see friends and family. A change of scenery, some familiar faces, and maybe a few pages of Dostoevsky finally turned.
